When I have started my career in JSW cements, Nandyal we have Dispensary facility at our plant. As a doctor I have provided treatment facilities to the workers, employees with the help of our medical team. Later in 2012 our management has started the Mobile Health Van facility to the surrounding villages with the motto of ‘promotion of good health facilities to the local communities’. Through this facility I got the opportunity to conduct Mobile health camps in the surrounding villages and to provide doctor consultation, treatment facilities with free of cost to the needy people. This facility has created a very good impact in the villages for our organization. Our company had a good working culture and our management has created lots of opportunities to the women employees to grow in their career. I also received such opportunity from our company and they encouraged me to do my AFIH program from BHEL, Trichy. After completion of this course, I got the opportunity to work as an Occupational Health Physician at our newly constructed Occupational Health Center. ’Prevention is better than cure’ – with this motto our OHC is working at our plant. I am very grateful for our organization to create an impact by providing health facilities to all the needy people.
