My interest to operate and control the process of cement manufacturing took shape when I joined India Cements. Having secured a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from University of South Florida, training in instrumentation and knowledge on quality parameters has given me confidence in plant operations from CCR with deep understanding on process measurements and calculations. The American Association of University Women, awarded Excellence in Service Award for outstanding contribution to the American Association of University Women in Engineering during my Post graduation in 2017. The Paper “An Intelligent Hand Gesture Recognition System using Fuzzy logic “which I presented at the IET 4 th International Conference on Sustainable energy and Intelligent Systems was published in IET Digital library during my undergraduate Studies. Later in 2012 our management has started the Mobile Health Van facility to the surrounding villages with the motto of ‘promotion of good health facilities to the local communities’. Through this facility I got the opportunity to conduct Mobile health camps in the surrounding villages and to provide doctor consultation, treatment facilities with free of cost to the needy people. This facility has created a very good impact in the villages for our organization. Our company had a good working culture and our management has created lots of opportunities to the women employees to grow in their career. After completion of this course, I got the opportunity to work as an Occupational Health Physician at our newly constructed Occupational Health Center. ’Prevention is better than cure’ – with this motto our OHC is working at our plant.
