54 Conclusion We strongly believe that the future of performance enhancers in cement manufacturing lies in development of customised formulations for each use case. It involves more rigorous and extensive development exercise as outlined above. However, the needs and rationale for such bespoke or customised formulations are now much stronger than ever before. Grinding aid and performance enhancer suppliers must rise to the occasion and work jointly with the cement manufacturers in making the industry “leaner”, “greener” and “better”.
