There were four Technical Sessions carrying the Themes, (I) CMA– IIP Initiative on AFR:Setting the Stage, (II) Voices From Across the Globe, (Ill) Creating Win-Win Situations Through Regulatory Reforms, and (IV) Case Studies to Learn From, that were respectively Chaired by Dr K C Narang, Advisor, Dalmia Cement (B) Ltd with Mr S K Wali , Wholetime Director, JK Lakshmi Cement Ltd. as the Co-Chair; Mr Thomas Armstrong, Managing Editor, International Cement Review, UK with Mr K N Rao, Director (Energy & Environment) , ACC Ltd as the Co-Chair; Mr Hardi k Shah, Member Secretary, Gujarat State Pollution Control Board and Dr K U Mistry, Chairman, Gujarat State Pollution Control Board with Mr Ashwani Pahuja, Director General, National Council for Cement and Building Materials as the Co-Chair, of the Sessions. Altogether, 14 Technical Papers conforming to the above themes were presented by different National and International Experts in these four technical sessions spread over two days.
