76 In another recognition in field of energy, the Company was conferred the award of “Best Poster” at E-Poster competition based on evaluation by panel of Judges at an event “EnerCON” 2020 organised by CII for various energy efficiency related operational practices undertaken by the unit over the years such as use of Renewable energy in electricity mix over 50%, etc. The Unit participated in a study conducted by CII for Specific Energy Consumption upto clinkerisation and was ranked 7th among the top 10 energy efficient plants included in the study. These recognitions have been made possible due to the continuous efforts of the engineers and site leaders who are committed to work for gaining energy efficiency in their operations. Over the years the company has worked relentlessly towards developing greenbelt and plantation area. In total more than 10,000 plants have been planted in the span of last 2.5 years. The SDM- Tehsil, Mavli, Udaipur, Rajasthan during his visit to the plant site appreciated the efforts of unit to develop greenbelt in the area and further issued an appreciation certificate on the occasion of Republic Day 2021.
