Cement Energy Environment

36 New additives (PP+) hydrated with OPC cement paste were prepared and cured at room temperature 27±2°C for 28 days were recorded. The SEM picture of New additive (PP+) shows a comparatively compact structure, less porous, which increase the compressive strength with New additive (PP +). Referring figure 6 A and B the SEM result shows the powder form of PP+ and hydrated PP+ clearly illustrating the good compact structure with reduced porosity. Figure: 5 B (OPC-Cement + PP +) Conclusions Figure 6 A (PP+) Figure 6 B (OPC +PP+) PP+ materials will be a suitable and futuristic “GREEN ADDITIVES’’ for enhancement of performance of LOW CARBON mortar & concrete, which has been developed by use of industrial waste and overburden of clay mines materials. WALI (WTD) for his encouragement. The Author also thanks the reviewer for the valuable comments and suggestions on this article. (a) PP+ replaces the cement up to 15%. (b) PP+ does not increase the water demand as other fine materials. (c) Initial heat of hydration is higher in comparison to OPC cement. (d) Water percolation is less due to packing density.
