27 JK Lakshmi cement and Udaipur Cement have been exploring industry 4.0 & Digital Manufacturing and put up IOT based Smart Bag Counter System integrated with SAP. All information is being updated directly in smart loading system from SAP by using the QR code system. System is capable to record the time logs for Idle time, Loading Start and Completion time loading. System is smart enough to take care of the loading The bag counting system is integrated with the FIFO system, which assigns a sequence number to each truck for loading on a first-in, first-out basis. The procedure is as follows • Allocation of FIFO sequence Number to truck for loading. • Truck data sent to packing plant automatically. • Loading Point assignment done by tally check for Next truck to be loaded. • Next Loading truck data sent to Led screen for driver intimation. • On Reaching loading point, Barcode enabled Physical document verification done by system. • Finally, Sensor based auto bag counting starts. Industry 4.0 and Digital Manufacturing Process Flow Flow Diagram sequence of trucks on FIFO method. Advance SMS Alerts to drivers and transporter as per their turn is in place. System displays queue information to trucks for next one hour loading. Real time web portal is in place for showing idle time, loading time, and completion time to all stakeholders to monitor the performance of individual packer. Advance analytics is in place with the help of data on Qlik sense platform. • Visualization of real time bag counting to outdoor led for truck drivers and loading workers. • System automatically stops the process once bag counting reaches the required set point.
