Accordingly a service order was placed on M/s. Siemens Ltd. for engineering study for complete evalua on of steam turbine with change in inlet parameters at 15 ATA 380°C. The scope of work included following jobs: - 1. HMBD’s with inlet flow of 75TPH, 72 TPH & 68 TPH. 2. Revised protec on logic. 3. Review of exis ng instruments as per P&ID’s. 4. Steam turbine curves 5. Correc on curves A shutdown of steam turbine was taken for 14 hours to implement the revised turbine protec on logic and steam turbine curves. The modified turbine protec on trip set points were tested through simula on and then STG was rolled and synchronized. All the running parameters were found in permissible range.
