Involvement of External Agency for the Project: A er successful trial of prototype model, design modifica ons (dimensions upgraded according to new equipment for measuring 50mm in either direc ons) were done in GA drawing. External fabrica on workshops were contacted for forma on of new kiln migra on measurement equipment and Prototype model was developed with the help of G.G Engineering works, West Bengal. Only Prototype model was made by the external party else whole R&D alongwith installa on & tes ng of device was done by the in-house team. 5. Problems faced during implementa on and their solu ons: · To get Kiln con nuous posi on we have procured SMART KILN POSITIONING SYSTEM from Indexel Engineering Pvt. Limited having Calibra on Range of ±50mm, with sensor water cooling housing and 4-20mA Output Signal for CCR display. · Due to High water temperature in summer and less gap between Kiln & Sensor, Ultrasonic Sensor started to show malfunc oning and failure. · Team had develop local model to shi transmi er at a distance from Kiln shell and also kept provision of installa on of poten ometer 96
