Project Review It is important to have detailed work plan for civil construction, structural fabrication – erection, mechanical / electrical / instrumentation & automation erection. Out of all these , close control of civil construction work is critical. If civil construction progresses as per plan, one can be 75% sure that Project will be commissioned in time. Priorities of handing over of civil fronts as per structural and mechanical erection must be scheduled in the beginning itself based on sections requiring longer time for installation and interdependency of activities. To achieve this , daily site discussions with respective in charge of civil , mechanical , electrical , instrumentation & automation along with contractors project manager should be held about plan for the day , construction equipment mobilization , site manpower , constraint if any. The daily site meeting should be followed by detailed weekly meeting and timing should preferably be in the evening. This meeting is chaired by the Project Head of the company and project manager of all the contractors with site engineer / assistant as well as in charge for the functions of civil , mechanical , electrical ,
