Solar thus obtained REC registration from NLDC. Entire Inverter has inbuilt features like protection and energy generated from solar plant is being consumed with in cement plant for REC eligibility. As shown in fig-1 total cement plant load is 18.5 MW, thermal CPP generation capacity is 18 MW and the solar plant capacity is 1.15MWp. The solar plant generates around 800 KW during the day time (7 AM - 6 PM) as shown in fig-3 which results daily yield around 5200kwh per day on annual average basis. However actual day yield varies between 4000kwh - 7500kwh per day depends on the solar irradiation of that particular day. Total energy generated from this solar plant is contributing 2 % of annual electrical energy consumption of their cement plant. automatic self-synchronisation mechanism and thus automatically synchronises when grid supply is available. In case of grid failure automatically stop the generation and again start automatically whenever grid resumes. No need of manual synchronisation or manual intervention. The solar inverter has 5 MPPT modules and based on input solar irradiation level , respective MPPT module start I stops the generation and maximise the energy yield. This project execution is completed in record time of 69 days from jungle cutting to generation of energy with excellent planning . KCP have used Single axis tracker system to improve the yield and now overall PLF achieved around 19 %. 18 (
