CONCLUSION Implementation of effective waste management practices become imperative for the sustainable growth of the country and the cement industry, having demonstrated capability of providing safe, ecological sustaining and environmentally sound solution for the management of both Municipal and Industrial wastes - can supplement this requirement waste management in the country in an effective manner. The cement industry is capable to co process wastes as alternative fuels and raw materials to reinforce its competitiveness and at the same time contribute to solutions to some of society’s waste problems in a way which valorizes the waste and is beneficial to the environment.
