The latest technologies adopted in mining operations reducing the risk severity, reducing the negative environment impacts and optimum utilization of mineral resources/Mineral conservation. MHIPL vision is to build a Safe, healthy and sustainable mining environment. In order to achieve our vision several initiatives have been taken in the areas of safety of the workmen, improvement in aesthetic beauty and the environment which in turn creates a good health conditions of the persons working in the atmosphere in the Mining & in surrounding areas. This article narrates the improvements & best practices implementing at our MHIPL. My Home Group - Significant Player in Cement Production • My Home Industries Private Limited (MHIPL- MCW) is operating Cement manufacturing unit from 1998 located at Mellacheruvu Village & Mandal in suryapeta district of Telangana State. Under the leadership of Dr. J Rameshwar Rao, Chairman, MHIPL reputation grown as organization that stands for the best Quality, Energy efficiency, Environment, Health & Safety Systems with reliability. • MHIPL currently has two integrated cement plants located at Mellacheruvu in Suryapeta district, Telangana and at Yanakandla Village in Kurnool District, Andhra Pradesh and one grinding unit at Mulakalapalli village in Visakhapatnam District, Andhra Pradesh and one grinding unit at Tuticorin, Tamilnadu. The combined installed capacity of the three plants is 10 million tons per annum. • MCW - Mellacheruvu Cement Works operations are Environment / Eco friendly, Energy Efficient Unit & Best in Safe Practices and meet the most efficient production parameters in the world. • MCW manufacture the cement product range - OPC 43 & 53 grade, PPC, PPC HD+ and marketing in India and abroad under the brand name of “MAHA CEMENT” through a wide network of over 5000 dealers spread across South India, Eastern India and Maharashtra. Since last couple of years MCW is exporting its clinker and cement to Bangladesh. • MCW is having three cement lines, two captive power plants, an alternative fuel plant and railway siding for wagon handling & Waste Heat Recovery (WHR) Power Plant.
