GREEN CEMENTECH, 14-15 MAY 2015 CMA TECHNICAL COMMITTEE MEETING The 64th Quarterly CMA Technical Committee Meeting was held on 17th April 2015 at the Hyderabad Unit of National Council for Cement and Building Materials. Cfl in partnership with Cement Manufacturers' Association (CMA) organized the 11th ed ition of Green Cementech on 14-15 May in Hyderabad. The theme of the event was- 'Make Indian Cement Plants World Class in Green'. The main objective of the event was to faci litate Indian cement industry reach world-class standards on energy & environment by adopting the most energy efficient manufacturing processes and address issues related to sustainable development of this fast growing industrial sector. lCl 1 breen 1 h m ementec f3 Mr G Jayaraman, Executive President, Birla Corporation Limited is leading the World Class Energy Efficiency initiative in Cement sector. It is under his thought leadership & guidance Green Cementech has consol idated itself as one of the key events of Indian cement sector. Mr. N .A. Viswanathan, Secretary General, Cement Manufacturers' Association, while sharing his thoughts at the inaugural session said that, in the days to come the demand for cement would grow significantly. Effective utilization of waste, energy conservation measures would go a long way in producing cement in the sustainable way, he added. Felicitating Mr. P. R. Ramasubraf1maneya Rajha, Chairman, Ramco Group with "Distinguished Personality" award for his outstanding contribution to Indian cement sector at Green Cementech 2015 Mr. P. R.
