MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT AND FORESTS NOTIFICATION New Delhi the 2nd May, 2014 S.O 1196{E).-In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 3 of the nvironment (Protection) Act, 1986 (29 of 1986) and in pursuance of para 3 of the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Environment and Forests, number S.O. 1533(E), dated the 14th September, 2006 (hereinafter referred to as the said Gazette Notif ication), the Central Government hereby constitutes the State Level Environment Impact Assessment Authority, Gujarat (hereinafter referred to as the Authority) comprising of the following Members, namely: - I. The Chairman and Members of the Authority shall hold office for a term of three years from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette. 3. The Authority shall exercise such powers and follow such procedures as enumerated in the said Gazette notification . 4. The Authority shall , before arriving at its decision, consider the recommendations made by the State Level Expert Appraisal Committee constituted under paragraph 5. 5. In order to provide assistance to the Authority, the Central Government, in consultation with the State Government of Gujarat, hereby constitutes the State Level Expert Appraisal Committee, Gujarat (hereinafter referred to as SEAC) comprising of the following, namely ).
