With or without admixture~; when the flexural load has reached certain level, crack has occurred and with increase in the load the crack has further spread and the final failure has occurred at the ultimate load. When the specimen is fully cracked it is observed that from the initial crack to the final failure the fa il ure mechanism was smooth and gradual. Specimens with fibres have not only contributed towards higher flexural loads 52 --
