It contains 30 to 35% moisture. Even after subtracting heat loss on account of moisture, Coal Tar substitutes coal of 5000 to 5500 Kcai/Kg in the ratio of 1 : 1 to 1:1.2 **** 6.0 Coal tar impact in pyro– processing: Coal Tar replaces fine coal in the ration of 1 to 1.2 MT. Third party study was conducted to determine the effect of Coal Tar firing in clinker quality and stack emission level. As per the report there is no change in clinker quality and stack emission with the use of Coal Tar. Coal Tar is fired in calciner above the level of fine coal firing point. Coal Tar firing system through PLC based logic has made the operation smooth & safe. 7.0 Conclusion : Continual souring price of LPG I LNG as well as availability compelled Ceramic Industries and other similar industries to switchover to Coal gassifier which is economical. Sanghi Industries has demonstrated that Coal Tar generated at Ceramic Industry which is considered to be highly hazardous can be co– processed in Cement Kiln for gainful utilization. Sanghi Industries is committed to explore such wastes in future to contribute for continual environmental improvement. 13
