Raymond Cement Works, Gopalnagar (Recipient of nest Energy Performance award for the year 1992-93). Raymond Cement Works, Gopal Nagar is a dry process plant having an installed capacity of 8.55 lakh tonnes in 1992-93. The plant is equipped with one dry process kiln, with 5 stage preheater with FLS precalciner of 3850 tpd installed capacity. * Present capacity is 22.40 lakh tonnes. • Replacement of all pneumatic transport • Modification of kiln outlet seal systems by mechanical conveyors and • Burner pipe axis made in line with kiln elevators ' • Replacement of higher HP motors with appropriate size motors· • Reduction of false air in kiln and preheater section • • • • Conversion of open circuit grinding mills to closed circuit operation Satna Cement Works, Satna axis Installed solid flow meter Automatic coal feeding through PID control Analyser (CO, 02, NOx) for excess air and controlling incomplete combustion (Recipient of Best Energy performance awards for 1993-94, 1994-95 and 1995-96 as well as second best improvement in Energy performance awards for Lhe years 1993-94 & 1995-96).
