The function and the effect of micro nutrients or trace elements on the growth and metabolism of the bacteria have been studied and documented well over the past 30 years. The Nutra complex contains most of these trace elements, which supplement the nutrient requirement by taking into our account nutrient deficiency of a particular effluent. The last one Detox is a synergistic blend of humic acids, urea, amino acids and bio-stimulants that acts as a chelating agent. It can sequester or stabilize heavy metals and salts. Detox aids degradation and mineralization of petroleum– based products. When added to the biological treatment system, it buffers the natural microbial ecosystem from toxic constituents in the effluent. GRG Microzyme is broadcasted as a bacterial seed on start up and rest of three formulations, Biooxidator, Nutracomplex and Detox are dozed in to the Aeration Tank at a specified dosage daily, depending on the qual ity, quantity, nature of effluent and the condition for the treatment of Plant, final expected results, tackling specific operational problems like bad odour, heavy foaming and colour of the treated water, suspended solid carry over from clarifier etc. These products are applied manually during the day time, ones, twice or thrice a day depending on the size or retention time in the BioreactoriAeration Tank I FBR I MBBR I SAFI SBR IRBC etc. Over the past 14 years, these products have been used over 150+ treatment Plants and for all types of effluent like sewage , milk plant, sea food and meat processing Plants, distilleries and breweries, textile bleaching, dyeing and printing, leather processing Plants, hotels, hospitals, resorts and theme parks, IT parks, residential and commercial complexes. Case study 1pharma effluent A pharmaceutical company in Hosur had approached us to take up the modification, upgradation, operation and maintenance of the already modified plant by another consultant. The main challenge was to cultivate the right bio– culture for this effluent, which was facing high discharge of antibiotics to ETP. The article focuses on how these pro-biological products were able to tackle a whole lot of problems faced by this Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP). The formulation plant mainly manufactures liquid formulation like injections, steroids, antibiotic and all of these are packed sterile condition in vials. 51.
