 Watering plants during night hours to reduce evaporation.  Drip Irrigation: This involves placing tubing with emitters on the ground alongside the plants. The emitters slowly drip water into the soil at the root zone.  Water Audits by Third Party.  Change in attitude & habit for water conservation.  Training and awareness programmes conducted on a regular basis on water conservation.  Our efforts have led us to become 3.36 times water positive at our Group level and decrease our specific water consumption by 37% in the course of the previous 5 years.  Through all these Water Conservation measures, Chanderia Unit has achieved a 28% reduction in water consumption.  “World Water Day” was celebrated on 22nd March 2023 to fulfil SDG Goal 6.
