34 Best Practices in Safety Abstract We consider Health, Safety & Environment Protection as an integral part of our MHIPL business. We are committed to protect the Environment in which we operate and to ensure the Health and Safety of the employees, contractors, visitors, community, Environment, Clients and Stake Holders. In addition to relevant statutory requirements, we have adopted various safety guidelines for contractors and their workmen in order to maintain the safety standards at our work place. We introduced various methods to reduce the risk severity and ensure zero harm. Our MHIPL vision is to build a Safe, healthy and sustainable environment. In order to achieve our vision several initiatives have been taken in the areas of safety of the employees and workmen. This article narrates the improvements & best practices being implemented at MHIPL. My Home Group - Significant Player in Cement Production  My Home Industries Private Limited (MHIPL- MCW) is operating Cement manufacturing unit since 1998 located at Mellacheruvu Village & Mandal in Suryapeta district of Telangana State.Under the leadership of Dr. J Rameshwar Rao- Chairman, MHIPL reputation has grown as organization that stands for the Best Quality, Energy Efficiency, Environment, Health & Safety Systems with reliability.  MHIPL currently has two integrated cement plants located at Mellacheruvu in Suryapeta district, Telangana and at Yanakandla Village in Kurnool District, Andhra Pradesh and one grinding unit at Mulakalapalli village in Visakhapatnam District, Andhra Pradesh and one grinding unit at Tuticorin, Tamilnadu. The combined capacity of the three plants is 10 million tons per annum.  MCW - Mellacheruvu Cement Works operations are Environment / Ecofriendly, Energy Efficient Unit & Best in Safe Practices that meets the most efficient production parameters in the world.  MCW manufactures the cement product range - OPC 43 & 53 grade, PPC, PPC HD+ marketed in India and abroad under the brand name of “MAHA CEMENT” through a wide network of over 5000 dealers spread across South India, Eastern India and Maharashtra.
