SHREE CEMENT- "NEW SUSTAINABILITY CHAMPION" World Economic Forum (WEF), Switzerland has identified Shree Cem'ent as "New Sustainability Champion" . The Company, a Member of CMA has shared the communique received from Professor Klaus Schwab, Executive Chairman of WEF. The WEF in association with The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) during their study had screened 1000 companies from emerging economies and has finall y identified 16 New Sustainability Champions. Their study was shared at the Summer Davos Summit held in Dalian, China in September, SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT · 2011. Shree Cement is the only company from the global cement and core sector and one of only three Indian companies conferred with this distinction (the other two are Suzlon Energy and Jain Irrigation Systems).
