Raipur Units 1+2 (Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction) Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction placed an order for 14 Loesche mills type LM 35.30 for the Raipur Units 1+2 Project. Ras plant (Shri Cement Limited) Having only just commissioned the grinding plants for kiln unit no. VII , Kolkata-based Shree Cement Limited placed a further repeat order in 2009. This time the RAS plant saw Gebr. Pfeiffer SE and its Indian subsidiary Gebr. Pfeiffer (India) Pvt. Ltd supply a grinding plant for raw meal and a grinding plant for petcoke for its kiln unit no. VIII. An MPS 3750 B with a power rating of 1600 kW, which was commissioned in March 2011 , forms the core of the raw meal grinding plant. The mil l is designed to grind 215 tph to a fineness of 2 per cent R 212 IJm . For the production of the pulverized petcoke, wi th which the cement kiln is fired , an MPS 225 BK vertical roller mill has been chosen for a capacity of 15 tph at a fineness of 2 per cent R 90 IJm. This high degree of fineness is attained by passing the material through an SLS-BK high-efficiency classifier of the latest generation integrated in the MPS mill. Rauri plant (Ambuja Cement/Holcim India) In 2007, Ambuja Cement placed an order with Gebr. Pfeiffer SE and Gebr. Pfeiffer (India) Private Ltd , for an MPS 5600 B with an installed drive of 5600 kW for this plant in Himachal Pradesh. The mill was designed to grind 650 tph of raw material with a specific power requirement of 7.5 kWh/t, the material being difficult to grind. The contract stipulated a product fineness of 2 per cent IJm. The mill , which was commissioned at the end of 2009/beginning of 2010, is being operated at a feed rate of 700 tph. A kiln access ramp with load capacity of 7.5t and heavy duty fall guards was also ordered from Bricking Solutions. Rawan and Rajashree plants (Uitratech Cement Ltd) In October 2010, Gebr. Pfeiffer SE was contracted to supply two MPS 3550 BK vertical roller mills for coal grinding for Ultratech Cement Ltd's Rawan and Rajashree plants. The company will set up a 10 000 tpd cement production line at each location. Each roller mill is designed for 90 tph of finished product features a 1300 kW drive. They will grind the coal that is intended to be used as fuel to a product fineness of 12 per cent R 90 IJm. The coal, with an expected feed moisture of as much as 15 per cent, will be dried by hot gases whil e simultaneously being ground in the mills. There is also an option to grind petcoke. Salem plant (Madras Cement) Three Aumund machines were supplied to the Salem plant in June 2011. These include a twin bucket elevator with central chain for the conveying of 1365 tph cl inker and gypsum, and two further belt bucket elevators with conveying capacities of up to 500 tph . Satna plant (Prism Cement) Prism Cement has ordered a new kiln, and for this has purchased a kiln shell scanner, kiln camera and cooler CCTV from Thermoteknix Systems. After ordering equipment for the new kiln Prism Cement decided to replace its old ki ln shell scanner and instead install a Thermoteknix centurion scanner. A Centurion Infrared Linescanner with WinCem kiln shell visual ization software system was purchased for the monitoring of kiln shell temperatures. Shahabad plant (Jaiprakash Associates Ltd) Jaiprakash Associates Ltd placed an order with Loesche for an LM 60.6 mill designed for a capacity of 450 tph raw material at 15 per cent R 0.09mm; 5600 kW. In addition, the company ordered an LM 56.3+3 with a capacity of 300 tph PPC at a fineness of 3200 cm 2 /g. Shahabad CL II (Zawar Cement Private Limited) The company has purchased a Loesche mill type LM 46.2+2 for the grinding of 320 tph PPC with a fi neness of 3200 cm 2 /g. Sitapuram plant (ltalcementi Zuari) Fives Pillard has supplied a 66 MW NOVAFLAM burner firing coal, diesel and waste oil. It has been supplied together with the diesel oil and waste oil guns and corresponding valve trains. Tehsil Nimbhera (Wonder Cement Ltd) In the second half of 2010, Gebr.
