Chettinad Cement Corporation Ltd is erecting a cement plant in Gulbarga, which will produce 1.75 million tpa of cement by next year. HeidelbergCement India Ltd In June 2010, Aumund received three orders from FLSmidth for the supply of three belt bucket elevators, two chain bucket elevators and two deep drawn pan conveyors to HeidelbergCement India Ltd. The Aumund machines will be installed in the existing 5000 tpd cement plant in Narsingarth, in a new cl inker grinding plant in lmlai and at the grinding plant in Jhansi. The belt bucket elevators convey raw meal on a stretch of 124 m. Himachal plant (Ambuja Cement/Holcim) Fives Pillard has supplied an 88 MW NOVAFLAM burner firing coal, petcoke and diesel oil. JP Super Cement plant (Jaiprakash Associates) Jaiprakash Associates Ltd is rapidly augmenting its cement production capacity. JP Super Cement is a-6000 tpd plant, enhancing group presence in northern and central India. A contract was awarded to Thermoteknix Systems for the supply of a Centurion Infrared Linescanner with WinCem kiln shell visualization software system for the monitoring of kiln shell temperatures. A ThermaScope SLK kiln/cooler high-performance radiometric temperature imaging system and a ThermaScope HTV CCTV style non-radiometric high temperature video camera for the monitoring of the kiln/cooler were also purchased. JSW Cement Ltd A contract was awarded to Thermoteknix Systems for the supply of a Centuri on Infrared Linescanner with WinCem kiln shell visualization software system for the monitoring of kil n shell temperatures. This is the first major cement plant with a capacity of approximately 2 million tpa from the JSW Group, which mainly deals in the steel and power industries. Maharashtra plant (Manikgarh Cement/B.K. Birla Group) In June 2010, Man ikgarh Cement ordered an MPS 6000 B raw mill and an MPS 3350 B f< coal mill from Gebr. Pfeiffer SE. For the production of the raw meal to be fed to the new kiln , the MPS 6000 B will be installed to grind 600 tph to a fineness of 12 per cent R 90 ~m . The 6480 kW drive is dimensioned according to Gebr. Pfeiffer's standard in such a way that the installed power will be about 20 per cent above the absorbed power to be expected. With an AGMA factor of 2.5 or more, referring to the installed drive power, dimensioning of the drive is focussed on operating reliability. For grinding 75 tph of fuel to a fineness of 10 per cent R 90~m. the MPS 3350 B K will be used. The engineers from Gebr. Pfeiffer (India) Pvt. Ltd will plan the layout of the grinding plants. The engineering services will include the production of general arrangement drawings and the specification of the components to be procured by the customer, and include the supervision of the installation and commissioning of the mills.
