Fine Coal Bin Pyjama Chute Modification The original fine coal bin design featured a double discharge system, which led to fluctuations in coal flow and occasional leakages, affecting the efficiency of the process. To address this, we redesigned the system to a single discharge configuration, ensuring smoother and more consistent coal flow. The new design was carefully developed in-house, and approval was obtained from the Head Office after a thorough review of its technical benefits. During the installation, we faced several challenges, including the precise alignment of the modified chute and integrating it with the existing system. However, the team remained committed to overcoming these obstacles, with the ultimate goal of reducing energy consumption and enhancing operational stability. The modification has not only improved coal flow but has also contributed significantly to reducing thermal energy consumption and boosting overall plant efficiency.
